All GP practices across NHSGGC are in the process of moving to a new GP IT system. Dorema Surgery will begin this process on 23rd June 2026 and we will have “READ ONLY” access to our clinical system from this date until 01st July.
What does this mean for patients?
- PRESCRIPTIONS – Will NOT be issued between Tuesday 23rd June to Wednesday 1st July and the final prescriptions will be issued Mon 22nd June.
- APPOINTMENTS – Will be strictly URGENT ONLY and we will be unable to book future appointments during this time.
- BLOOD TESTS – We will be unable to do non-emergency bloods.
- RESULTS – We will not receive lab results, X-Rays or clinic letters.
- NON NHS REQUEST – We will be unable to process medical reports or supply medical records.
We are live on our new system on Tuesday 30th June 2026 however we will be required to run a reduced service following this, to allow our Clinical and Administration Teams time to adjust to this large scale change. We ask that you are patient with our staff at this time.
Your medical records will be transferred securely and routine appointments will be available to book in the coming weeks.
